Negotiation activities in the private sector are managed via the Federation of Professional and Managerial Staff YTN. YTN’s affiliates are trade unions under Akava whose members work in the private sector. YTN signs collective agreements with the member associations of the Confederation of Finnish Industries EK and also concludes company-specific agreements.
Representatives have been appointed to perform advocacy work at the local level, and larger workplaces also have a local YTN branch. For more information on YTN’s negotiation activities, company-level associations and the contact details of representatives, please refer to the YTN website.
Approximately 4,500 of Loimu’s full members work in the private sector.
