Membership fee discount considers your life situation – apply in time
Loimu’s membership fees take into account the different life situations of its members, and you can apply for a discount.
If your gross monthly income is less than €2,900, you may be eligible for a discount on your membership fee. The amount of the discount is determined based on income brackets:
- Gross income between €2,401 and €2,900/month
- Gross income between €1,801 and €2,400/month
- Gross income under €1,800/month
Applying for a discount is easy with the discount application form available in the OmaLoimu e-service, under the Membership fees section. Select the correct discount category and reason for the discount on the form. If your income is temporarily lower, for example due to parental leave, you can indicate the start and end dates on the application. You can also apply for a discount to be valid until further notice – for example, if you are unemployed and do not yet have a new job lined up. In that case, you can leave the end date blank.
No worries if you forgot to apply for the discount – you can also apply retroactively. We can grant retroactive discounts for up to six months.
The discount application will be processed by Loimu’s Member services. After processing, you will receive confirmation that the discount has been registered in OmaLoimu. If needed, you will also receive instructions on how to pay the corrected membership fee.
