Loimu’s Christmas donation to Save the Children Finland

With our Christmas donation of 500 euros, we help prevent social exclusion and support low-income families with children in Finland.

Currently, about 120,000 children in Finland live in low-income families, and the number is estimated to grow by nearly 30,000. Last year, Save the Children’s assistance reached more than 75,000 children in Finland. With the help of donations, Save the Children provides food aid and support for hobbies. In addition, children in families facing challenging life situations are offered, among other things, mentors, foster homes, and online counseling. For example, last year nearly 14,500 children received food aid.

“I worry about whether we’ll have food and about the fact that sometimes my parents’ account has less than 10 euros.”

We wish all our members and partners a warm Christmas spirit!
