Would you like to apply for a subsidised holiday? Hyvinvoint The application period for autumn and Christmas holidays is now open! ilomat offers subsidised holidays with specific themes for families, pensioners and unemployed people.
Hyvinvointilomat organises subsidised holidays for families with children, single-parent families and adults in various holiday destinations across Finland.
Subsidised holidays are typically five days long and include accommodation, full board meals, and the opportunity to participate in guided holiday activities. Participation in the programme is voluntary.
Hyvinvointilomat organises subsidised holidays with funding from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Health. In 2024, a total of 40,085 people applied for a subsidised holiday, and 12,046 people (30% of applicants) were granted one. Of these, 2,330 families were selected for family holidays and 3,455 individuals for adult holidays. Subsidised holidays have a significant positive impact on participants’ well-being. In 2025, Hyvinvointilomat will organise holidays in 24 destinations across Finland.
Subsidised holidays are granted based on financial, health-related and social criteria. First-time applicants are prioritised. A subsidised holiday is usually five days long and can be granted at most every other year.
