Update your details and win a Jopo bicycle!

When was the last time you updated your membership information? Well now is the perfect time to update your information and make sure you receive the latest Loimu magazine and other membership news! By doing so you participate in our competition and have the chance of winning brand new red Jopo 24” bicycle!


When was the last time you checked and updated your membership details? Are your employment and study information up to date? Are all important messages from Loimu and your own member association reaching your correct email address? Have you checked your membership fee status or updated any possible membership fee discounts?

Between March 25th and April 17th 2024 check and, if necessary, update your membership and contact information by logging into OmaLoimu. By doing so, you automatically participate in the Jopo bike raffle and stay best informed about the association’s activities. You might even get to ride around in a new, cool bike as early as April!

The prize in the raffle is a 1-speed red 24-inch new Jopo bike, along with a cycling helmet to ensure safe rides. The bike and helmet are provided by our partner insurance company, Turva. Learn more about your membership insurances and benefits at www.turva.fi/loimu.

Thanks to up-to-date information, we can better advocate for our members’ interests, serve them more efficiently, and tailor services to their life situations. Additionally, when your contact information is accurate, you’ll receive Loimu magazine and other timely messages.

How to participate

  • Log in to OmaLoimu using your online banking codes or a registered email address.
  • If you have forgotten your login credentials, see the instructions here.
  • In OmaLoimu, you can browse your own information and update your basic information in the section for editing your personal details (“My Information”).
  • When updating your employer information, select the employer from the menu. If your employer is not in the menu, clikc “My employer cannot be found” and state the employer’s name and contact information.
  • Complete the changes, if necessary.
  • Please remember to save the changes.
  • If your information is up to date, just click ”My membership information is up to date. I participate in the raffle.””

  • The raffle is organised by the Union of Professionals in Natural, Environmental and Forestry Sciences Loimu ry.

    Loimu members can participate in the raffle by loggin in and updating their contact information on OmaLoimu. The raffle is open from 25.3.-17.4.2024. The prize is a red Jopo 24″bicycle and a biking helmet, which will be drawn among all members who take part in the raffle.

    The winner will be contacted in person at the end of April 2024. The purchase place of the Jopo and delivery details will be discussed with the winner separately. Prizes cannot be swapped for cash or other products. Loimu is responsible for paying the lottery tax.

    The Jopo company is not involved in the raffle in any way.

    Drawing of the prize and notification of the winner

    The prize will be drawn no later than April 28th 2024. The winner will be notified in person.  If the winner cannot be reached within one week of the above date, we will draw a new winner.

    The raffle is open to all natural persons. The only exception are the employees and families of the organiser of the raffle, who cannot participate in the raffle.

    Processing of personal data

    Personal data provided when participating in the raffle will be processed in accordance with data protection regulations, other legislation and the Loimu Privacy Policy (in Finnish).

    Other rules affecting the raffle

    The winner of the prize relieves the organiser of all liability and costs that may arise from participating in the raffle or from receiving or using the prize. However, this does not affect the consumer’s rights under the Consumer Protection Act. The organiser’s liability to the participants of the raffle is limited to the prize. The winner is responsible for all other costs associated with the acceptance or deployment of the prize, excluding the lottery tax, which is paid by the organiser.

    By participating in the raffle, the participant agrees to abide by these rules and any decisions of the organiser. The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the rules by posting them on this campaign site
